One of the most energetic rockers to emerge in the last year is 18-year-old singer/guitarist Jacob Cade, who drew quite a bit of attention with his explosive live performances and the song “Icky Nikki.” And now, Cade is looking to take it to the next level as he launches his new band, The BRKN.

The band recently released their debut single and accompanying video for the song “Your Existence.” See the video here: https://youtu.be/JS4QB7Do4no

Making the video was amazing!! It was incredible, finally being able to fulfill my vision for a music video. Kyle and his guys of Digital Myle are super talented. They made every one of our wishes come true and brought many different ideas that enhanced the video even more. Such a great experience, can’t wait for the next one!” – says Cade

The band is now working on new material with producers Glenn Sawyer and Rich Veltrop at Colorado’s The Spot Studios. The BRKN is Jacob Cane – vox and lead guitar, Kick Stevens – rhythm guitarist and Mike Bokenkamp – drums. The band recently played Rockfest in Cadott, Wisconsin on July 20and won over a standing room only crowd, sharing the stage Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, and Evanescence, among others.

As Cade continues to take the reins when it comes to writing all the material for The BRKN, he is thrilled about joining forces with his new musical bothers. “Couldn’t be more excited for this new project and record to come out!” says Cane. “Meeting Mike and Kick was such a blessing. For the first time, I feel like this is exactly where I’m supposed to be and can’t wait for the fans to hear the new music. We’ve added more to the live show and filled up the sound immensely. It’s like a dream playing with these guys.”
